How To Get The Steady Hand Destiny 2
Destiny 2's 'The Steady Hand' hand cannon is a powerful weapon obtained from Iron Banner, perfect for many situations in both PvP and PvE.
Destiny 2 returns Iron Banner to available playlists on Crucible once a month, and the second week of Iron Banner for Season of the Splicer is here to allow Guardians a chance to prove themselves. Iron Banner will only be returning one more time this season, making the routine for its unique weapons and gear highly sought after. There are a number of rewards players can earn through Iron Banner tokens, rewards, and the Iron Hands Diplomacy quest.
While a number of weapons like Iron Banner's Riiswalker Shotgun and Finite Impactor can be unlocked through the Iron Hands Diplomacy mission, there are several weapons that can be obtained only through Iron Banner tokens. Iron Banner tokens can be obtained by completing Lord Saladin bounties or by winning or losing Iron Banner matches. A victory will reward players with five Iron Banner tokens, while losing will only yield three tokens. The exchange of 20 will grant players a Legendary Iron Banner Engram and a chance to win the Steady Hand Cannon.

Destiny 2: How to Get 'The Steady Hand' (and God Roll) Hand Cannon
The Steady Hand Hand Cannon is a powerful weapon, perfect for many situations in both PvP and PvE. Deals kinetic damage with a hit of 92 and 120 RPM, which makes it on par in terms of damage with Bottom Dollar. When a player masters this weapon, it will increase steady hand stability, something that falls short with a base stat of 32. Unlike the lower dollar hand cannon or most legendary hand cannons, this weapon has a ton of viable perks ideal for both PvP and PvE. The trick is knowing which perks are best for what, but getting a bad roll is almost impossible.
Legendary sight
- Steadyhand HCS (PvP / PvE)
- Truesight HCS (PvP / PvE)
- Fastdraw HCS (PvE)
- Hitmark HCS (PvP)
Legendary magazine
- High Caliber Rounds (PvP / PvE)
- Light Mag (PvP / PvE)
- Extended Mag (PvE)
- Attached Magic (PvE)
- Flamed Magic Well (PvE)
- Bounce Rounds (PvP)
Legendary Trait 1
- Quickdraw (PvP / PvE)
- Outlaw (PvP / PvE)
- Slide (PvP / PvE)
- Killing Wind (PvP)
- Zen Movement (PvP)
- Moving Target (PvP
Legendary Trait 2
- Swordsman (PvP / PvE)
- Source (PvP / PvE)
- Mulligan (PvP)
- Instant Views (PvP)
Given the utility of The Steady Hand at medium and long range, this weapon is best paired with short- or medium-range weapons such as a shotgun, secondary machine gun, or handgun. This hand cannon has been a returning Iron Banner weapon for some time, so if anyone misses it this time, they will be back for another week this season. After that, the next time this weapon is available is probably the first week of the Iron Banner in Season 15 of Destination 2.
